Well ladies, if I posted that for any reason, it was a reminder to myself of the lessons I learned from my father and others over the years. Last year I had the expense of two tickets and the inconvenience and expense of having to take the Indiana Driver Improvement course! My lead foot and always being in a hurry has cost me dearly over time. Now with the price of fuel skyrocketing, I thought I’d do others like myself a service and “post a reminder”…

Here is another good fuel saving tip my co-blogger TA had up a couple months ago. It’s a real jewel, as I do it regularly and it improves gas mileage greatly.

When I took my driving license my father taught me all these things. Unfortunately, I am always in a rush and I find myself in the impossibility of following these pieces of advice. But it’s nice you’re sharing the information. It’s very useful .

I was pleasantly surprised to see that I actually use many of these! I could still be working on #5, but our sedan (1996?) is getting about 35mpg, especially on highways.
