About

The author of this blog is a conservative Christian who seeks to express her own opinions regarding a wide range of issues confronting American society.  She is a woman whom an American Soldier calls “Mom,” the daughter of a World War II Marine who, throughout his life, attributed his most important developmental experiences to his military service.  I invite anyone to express his or her own point of view, but I will not tolerate any abridgment of common decency, including vulgar expressions, ad hominem attack, or any violation of civil law respecting libel or slander.

“It does not take a majority to prevail… but rather an irate, tireless minority, keen on setting brushfires of freedom in the minds of men.”

Samuel Adams

  1. Nice “about” page. You’re too nice, actually…but maybe I’ve been hardened by almost 4 years of taking leftist BS.

  3. Can you tell my siblings are all teachers/administrators? That’s where I come off with the “now children” theme in there. Yeah, I’m nice, but if I get anyone unpleasant you’ll see the Dark Side of the Force come out!

  9. I am a hardworking professional, have been a working single mother and I think you are not making a very good case. Jesus was the Son of God, the same God that created mankind and I don’t think he would appreciate anyone murdering their unborn child because they weren’t convenient! There are plenty of places where one can get help and find adoptive parents so what you are saying makes no sense at all Krat. I sincerely feel for you and will have you in my prayers.

  15. Would you care to exchange links between your web site and mine?

I am a small business owner and a former USAF Squadron Commander, and I don’t trust liberals and liberalism.

My site is Links and Toons (www.linksandtoons.com), and is a collection of comments, commentary and links pointing to news, articles, opinions and cartoons that expose and poke fun at the faulty logic, failures, and incredible ignorance and arrogance of liberals and liberalism. The site is currently receiving from 200 to 560 hits per day.

Stop by and have a look at several dates and then decide whether or not you wish to exchange links.

If you do just go ahead and add a link to my site and let me know you have done so. I will in turn add a link on my site to yours.

If you happen to be involved in “show prep” for radio, tv, or other shows or in writing commentary please feel free to utilize the information on Links and Toons as a resource. A kudo or link would be nice but isn’t necessary in these cases.

  32. Hey there! I know this is kind of off topic but I was wondering which blog platform are you using for this site? I’m getting sick and tired of WordPress because I’ve had issues with hackers and I’m looking at alternatives for another platform. I would be awesome if you could point me in the direction of a good platform.
